Since the early 1990s Historical Features and Photos Agency has been actively building up its photographic files relating to historical recreations as portrayed by re-enactors. These re-enactors themselves are groups of people who faithfully and accurately portray periods of history. The files held by Historical Features and Photos Agency contains thousands of such images, each of which shows a high level of detail. These are useful to publishers of historical titles across all subject matters.

The periods held by Historical Features and Photos Agency includes the following:

Vikings; Dark Ages, archers, swords, axes and other weapons.

Saxon and Norman troops; mounted troops, shield and helmet detail and weapons.
